Inspection Checklist

• Check paint for cracking, peeling, fading or chalking. Be sure to inspect the bottom rows and under window casings.
• Check for holes, cracks or warped boards - any potential entry points for moisture or insects.
• Check for surface welting (seen as swelling around nail heads) a visible indicator there is a problem with your siding.
• Check for fungal growth (mold,moss,mushrooms, etc) on or under your siding. This may indicate moisture intrusion.
• Check joints and seams for cracking or missing sealant.
• Check flashings and gutters for damage or blockage.
